Initiatives for Energy Renovation of Multi-Family Apartment Buildings in Burgas

On March 20 and 21, two consecutive events were held at the Energy Office in Burgas, organized with the support of international projects involving CEE EnEffect, ComActivate, and SHEERenov+. The initiatives aimed to support key stakeholders in the renovation of multi-family residential buildings—namely homeowner associations and construction professionals.

On March 20, an informational meeting was held for representatives of condominium ownership. The event focused on the crucial role of homeowners' associations in the renovation process, including investor oversight, supervision of construction works, and the coordination needed between owners, contractors, and municipal authorities.

The following day, March 21, was dedicated to a specialized training for construction professionals. Participants received practical information on energy efficiency procedures, common mistakes, and best practices in project implementation. The training also highlighted innovative technologies and materials used in modern building renovation.

Both events brought together interested parties from various stages of the renovation process and demonstrated growing interest and readiness to implement sustainable solutions in the residential sector of Burgas Municipality.

The ComActivate and SHEERenov+ projects will continue to support local capacity-building efforts, providing targeted assistance and practical knowledge for all stakeholders involved in the energy renovation process.
