From 9 to 12 June 2025, representatives of local authorities and experts from Bulgaria, Poland, Croatia, and Romania visited Hamburg as part of a study visit under the OUR-CEE project.
The aim of the visit was to exchange knowledge and gain insights from successful initiatives in energy efficiency and sustainable urban development in Germany.

Participants explored the innovative HafenCity model - the largest urban redevelopment project in Europe - with a strong focus on energy efficiency, climate adaptation, and smart mobility. They also visited the Energy Campus Hamburg research center, where practical solutions for renewable energy and sustainable construction are being developed.

The visit was part of OUR-CEE’s broader efforts to improve the quality and impact of building renovation in Central and Eastern Europe through training, analysis of real-world projects, and the joint planning of effective measures.
